To provide a variety of financial services to our members in a friendly, caring environment, in an efficient manner at competitive interest rates, thereby making this a one stop financial institution.

 

Our History:

 

The Marinette County Employees Credit Union was established in 1956. We started out in a small room in the Marinette County Courthouse. The Credit Union has grown tremendously and now resides at 1740 Stephenson St. We are a closed charter Credit Union, which means you must work for a certain employer or be related to an existing member to join. If you are employed by one of the following you may join our Credit Union: United States Post Office of Marinette, Marinette/Menominee Clinic-Aurora Group, Bay Area Medical Center Marinette/Menominee, Wisconsin Departments of Natural Resources, Transportation, Revenue and Corrections; Wisconsin State Patrol (Marinette); Social Security Administration; U.S. National Guard (Marinette); U.S. Department of Agriculture; UW Marinette; Northeast Wisconsin Technical College- Marinette; U.S. Coast Guard (Marinette); Marinette Job Center; Marinette Public School system; Marinette Marine Corp. and their Contractors; any employee or elected official of Marinette County or the City of Marinette and members of the immediate family of all qualified persons.

We promise to offer low cost products and services to the diverse economic and social make-up of our members and potential members. We are a member owned, not-for-profit cooperative that continually strives to fulfill the financial needs of our members and to help them fulfill their financial dreams. We will continue to keep costs on all our services low to make them affordable for all our members. We will continually look for ways to educate our members and to help them become financially self-sufficient and successful.
