OFFICE OF FOREIGN ASSET CONTROL POLICY:
Effective September 24, 2001 President George W. Bush issued an Executive Order requiring immediate notification of OFAC when a financial institution identifies potential or actual assets of any entity listed on the list of "Specially Designated Nationals and blocked Persons". Due to the September 11th 2001 terrorist attack, we must now monitor all members and all financial transactions performed by or through them to detect those that involve any entity or person subject to the OFAC rules and regulations. It is the policy of this credit union to comply with the OFAC regulations.
CUSTOMER IDENTIFICATION PROGRAM
In an effort to assist in the war against terrorism, the USA PATRIOT ACT was enacted in October 2001. The USA PATRIOT ACT is a large body of law that impacts numerous industries in the United States such as immigration, customs and banking. It is the policy of this credit union to comply with the USA PATRIOT ACT.
